This class is a style of Yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Vinyasa Yoga classes offer a variety of postures, and no two classes are ever the same. It is a vigorous style based on a rapid flow through sun salutations.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a total body workout that stimulates your core muscles, tones your arms and helps you burn as many as 450 calories per one-hour session. Many of the poses done in Vinyasa Yoga will require you to support your own body weight which will target many muscles that running would not and these muscles will get toned.
